Yila was founded, and is currently owned by, by Gerhard Esterhuizen and Donald Graham. With a combined experience of more than 30 years on commercial software projects, Gerhard and Donald have seen a lot of code on a variety of platforms. They have studied software analysis, design and management, and prefer to operate where business meets technology. They believe an organisation’s business architecture must influence and be influenced by its technology architecture, and they are able to talk about technology to business people and technical people in language they can understand. This, they believe, is the key to using technology to meet real business needs.
